She is a recipient of the Minnesota State Arts Board Grant; 2009 Palette and Chisel Award; Riverside Art Center Award, Riverside, IL; received the Excellence in Arts and Education Award from the National Academy of Alternative Education, NYC; and was selected as Artist-in-Residence by the prestigious Studio in a School Association, NYC.
